For My American Readers

If you know anything about me (or if you've been a long time reader), my absolutely favorite holiday is the 4th of July.. American Independence Day! For the last several years, I've been at Seneca Lake in NY, but I'm not this year, so I get to celebrate in my hometown, Scranton.

Tonight at Courthouse Square is the Scrantastic Celebration.. the Northeast Philharmonic will be playing, and then there'll be a fireworks display. Vice President Joe Biden will also be in attendance (as a Scrantastic goer, I'm not excited about the hassle of parking or security, but as an American, it's pretty cool that Joe Biden is coming back to his hometown to celebrate the USA).

Anyways, on the nail blogs this week, there's been a lot of patriotic manicures, and let's face it, since it was just Canada Day, and Bastille Day is coming up, if a nation's flag has red, white, and blue in it, you can probably use these manicures if you're not in the US. I made an attempt at one.. it's not the best, but it works!

How are you going to celebrate the 4th of July? How did you celebrate your country's celebration? Did you have a specific manicure for it?
