Mardi Gras

I have to be honest with you. I broke my resolution. At least I made it 51 days, right? Next time I try a spending freeze, my resolution will be to go longer than 51 days!

I WISH I had better outfit photos of this outfit. I went to my work's Mardi Gras fundraiser on Friday night. I originally had RSVP'd then UN-RSVP'd to only find out Friday afternoon that my un-RSVP did not go through. I threw something together quick, and I really liked it. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, and my iPhone just couldn't take the greatest photo with the light situation in the building. They had a professional photographer there doing prom-like photos of guests for a fee. My friend and I decided to get an obnoxious one, but the photographer wouldn't let us (and the one I'll eventually get it of be sitting and you really only see my face).

I'll also be in the Times-Triube Out and About section again sometime soon, but that will also be my face. I guess it pays to know one of the Times staff photographer! I'll eventually be blacklisted from the paper.

Yes.. demon eyes again!

    1. I think it would be pretty awesome to go to New Orleans and experience the real Mardi Gras.. or even down to Brazil and do Carnival... it's on the bucket list for sure :)
